Established in 1986, Romark Jewellers has grown into one of the foremost dealers in antique and second hand jewellery in East Anglia. Located in the prestigious Abbeygate Street, in the heart of the beautiful and historic market town of Bury St Edmunds. This independent jewellers prides itself in the level of friendly, personal service it offers. The qualified staff are always happy to offer expert advice whether on purchases, commission work or jewellery repairs which are all carried out in the workshop on the premises by skilled craftsmen.

We also stock a large range of new jewellery in gold, silver and platinum either with or without gemstones from amethyst to zircon and everything in between. We have a wide selection of engagement rings, wedding rings and eternity rings as well as necklaces, bracelets, earrings or brooches to ensure that every occasion will be catered for.

As part or our service we buy your old or unwanted pieces of jewellery either for cash or part exchange against another item. Even your damaged or broken pieces can be recycled or sold for cash.

Our in house jewellery workshop is kept constantly busy with the huge volume of repairs and alteration work we carry out, often on the same day whenever possible. We source stones  for old pieces as well as for new commission work. We offer a cleaning and polishing service to give a new lease of life to your old pieces.

We also carry out watch repairs to all makes of watch and again specialise in the repair and restoration of old pieces. Watch batteries are replaced while you wait and at modest cost.

Together with our pearl and bead restringing service, we are able to offer the complete range of services for all your jewellery needs.

We carry out insurance valuations at very competitive rates and verbal valuations free of charge. In the unfortunate event of your losing or damaging an item of jewellery, we are able to source stones or complete pieces, either old or new, and can liaise directly with your insurance company if and when necessary.

Being an independent retailer we offer a high level of personal service. All out staff are fully trained and qualified so we are able to meet all your needs.

To secure an item from our rapidly changing stock, we accept deposits, as most of the pieces we hold in stock are unique items, this ensures that one off opportunities are not missed. The balance can be paid off over a period of up to 6 months.
